Who knew standing on your feet for 7 hours at a time being scrutinised by strangers could be so enjoyable? That's what I spent my weekend doing at the Farnham Maltings Festival of Crafts. With a little help from my thoroughly wonderful friend-come-assistants - Saturday Sarah and Sunday Duns'day - I had time to meet incredibly talented fellow stall holders and lovely customers alike while selling my wares. I did a couple of very beneficial card swapsies too (see the hairy bear and orange bishop above!).
It was especially good to meet other screen printing types, I don't get to chat with enough of them and I urge you to take a look at the beautiful work of Catherine McGinniss, Jen Moules, Jill and Nat Maks that I kept having to break away from my stall to go and stare at. Love love love.
